About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a well-established manufacturing business in Alfreton. You will be responsible for maintaining, fault finding, and repairing a range of production equipment in a fast-paced environment, ensuring maximum uptime and efficient operation. This is a multi-skilled role covering both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault finding and repairs
- Maintain and repair extrusion lines, injection moulding machines, automated cells, and ancillary equipment
- Complete CMMS records and maintenance logs accurately
- Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance safely and efficiently
- Support continuous improvement activities
About You
- Time-served Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship (Level 3) or equivalent (HNC/HND)
- Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience
- Strong fault-finding skills (electrical and mechanical)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills
- PLC fault finding
- Hydraulics and pneumatics experience
- Extrusion or injection moulding background
- 18th Edition qualified
- Servo drive systems experience
