Research Development Technician Location: Redditch, Worcestershire Salary: £40,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday | Day Shift | Flexi-Time An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Development Technician to join a leading engineering manufacturer. Working within the high-pressure engineering team, you'll be responsible for building, testing and validating prototype compressors, supporting new product development and helping bring innovative designs into production. Key Responsibilities: Build and assemble prototype compressors, test rigs, jigs and fixtures. Machine and modify components to support product development. Carry out product testing and validation to ensure performance and specification requirements are met. Record and analyse test data, producing technical reports to support engineering improvements. Support the transition of new products from prototype through to production. Investigate product issues and recommend engineering improvements.
