The successful candidate will be responsible for growing elastik’s product sales and adoption across schools and exam boards in the UK. Developing high-quality partnership relationships with multi-academy trusts, education departments of local authorities, schools and exam boards, this role will focus on elastik’s product suite becoming essential to the success of these education organisations. The person in this role will make early successes the cornerstone of an increasingly self-reinforcing sales approach that highly utilises referrals from within the customer base. They will combine this with customer account management and customer success responsibilities with strategic customers, playing an important role in adoption, the ongoing relationship and value creation of our products for schools, and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build high-quality partnership relationships with key decision-makers in multi-academy trusts, local authorities and exam boards, focused on the success of these organisations in achieving their most important outcomes.
  • Develop, execute and iterate sales approaches to grow adoption of Elastik’s products, contribute to the success of educational organisations and achieve revenue outcomes.
  • Identify and qualify new high-fit customer prospects with multi-academy trusts, education sections of local authorities and exam boards, establishing high-quality relationships, quickly understanding the outcomes that matter to them, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing new contracts.
  • Deliver compelling discovery processes and product demonstrations, identifying how elastik’s products can become essential to the success of educational organisations.
  • Be a trusted advisor to MATs, local authorities and schools, bringing product and data expertise, conducting onboarding and training sessions, ensuring product adoption, customer success, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Utilise customer referrals as a driver of new sales and expanded adoption.
  • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to refine messaging and align sales approaches.
  • Use CRM tools to manage leads, track interactions, and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Conduct regular client health checks to assess satisfaction, identify opportunities for improvement, and address potential concerns.

Experience:

  • Effective partnering with, and selling to, multi-academy trusts and education leadership in local authorities.
  • Running insightful opportunity discovery processes with new customer prospects.
  • Education sector experience, particularly valuing teaching experience.
  • SaaS product sales.
  • Customer outcomes focused selling.
