We are seeking a motivated Junior Manufacturing Operator (Tuesday - Saturday) to join our team and play a vital role in our production process. In this role, you will be an integral part of the team, learning to operate various machinery and equipment used in the vinyl record production process. Your focus on quality, problem-solving skills, and dedication will help us maintain the highest production standards. As part of this role, you’ll work on a rotating shift basis, which provides exposure to different aspects of our production processes and supports work-life balance for many team members. Our shift schedule includes:

  • Early Shift: 7 am - 3 pm, 8 hours - Tuesday - Saturday

We aim to provide reasonable notice of shift allocations and do our best to accommodate preferences where possible.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-On Training: Learn to operate and maintain a variety of equipment and machinery used in our production process.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor the production process, inspect materials and products for quality, and make precise adjustments to ensure top-notch results.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues, minimising downtime and ensuring efficient production.
  • Process Management: Follow established manufacturing processes and maintain accurate records of production jobs, materials used, and any issues encountered.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our production team to prioritise and fulfil production orders promptly, contributing to the timely delivery of products.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in the organisation and management of supplies and materials to keep the production line running smoothly.

Requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above.
  • A genuine interest in manufacturing or production, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills on the job.
  • A strong work ethic demonstrated in a warehouse or other working environments, including retail, hospitality, or similar roles.
  • Good attention to detail and pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
