We are seeking a Business Operations and Strategy Manager to help us redefine the physical and digital music industry. elasticStage is building the world's first on-demand vinyl and CD platform, unlocking physical music for the Digital Creator era. By 2030, there will be over 250 million music creators globally, most locked out of physical formats due to high minimum runs and operational complexity. elasticStage solves this through patented on-demand vinyl and CD manufacturing technology, powering a free‑to‑use platform where creators can produce and sell physical releases worldwide with no upfront costs or minimum quantities.
Responsibilities:
- Set up elasticStage's operating model end-to-end in a future‑back, AI‑native way, designing for how the company should run at 10x scale and building the processes, tools and infrastructure to get there.
- Design, launch and run the company‑wide OKR system (tools, processes, data infrastructure, ceremonies), targeting a Q3 2026 launch, then iterate.
- Make it scalable and AI‑native so anyone in the company can set, review and update OKRs progress efficiently through AI tooling, with metrics flowing automatically from the data layer.
- Own the leadership operating cadence: weekly leadership meeting, monthly business reviews, quarterly and annual planning, post‑mortems and decision logs.
- Embed AI into the cadence itself for pre‑read generation, action tracking and decision making.
- Define and maintain the KPI and financial tracking framework that sits alongside OKRs (unit economics, cohort metrics, business performance indicators).
- Build and maintain the dashboards and metrics packs which the whole organisation runs on and own the data so everyone has trustworthy numbers accessible in natural language, with the right guardrails for sensitive data.
- Own internal communications: all‑hands content, leadership announcements, company narrative, change comms.
- Build the internal knowledge base across strategy and operations so everyone in the company always has equal and updated context on direction and progress.
- Own board preparation (deck, pre‑reads, minutes, follow‑ups) and investor updates.
- Support with fundraising process end‑to‑end: pipeline tracking, data room, diligence coordination, model defence and metrics deep‑dives.
- Support our internal objectives around AI‑native workflows, potentially running a few AI enablement projects across the business, helping teams like People & Talent, Finance, Customer Support and Operations automate key tasks.
- Take on cross‑functional strategic projects without a natural owner as they come up: org design, partnerships, market analysis.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience, including a strong foundation in top‑tier strategy consulting (MBB or equivalent).
- Ideally, you will have 1‑2 years post‑consulting in an operator role (not required).
- Demonstrated ability to run value‑creation projects end‑to‑end autonomously: opportunity generation, sizing, prioritisation, plan design and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to set up and run company‑wide operating processes (OKRs, business reviews, planning cycles, post‑mortems) and preparing board materials, investor updates and fundraising diligence packs in a high‑growth context.
- Comfort owning data and metrics infrastructure: defining KPI frameworks, building dashboards, working directly with data tools.
- SQL familiarity is a plus.
- Strong analytical capability, with experience translating ambiguous business questions into structured analyses, clear recommendations and operational decisions.
- Demonstrates curiosity to increase technical leverage over time, using AI tools to accelerate prototyping, automation and iteration, including building the workflows yourself.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity with a bias toward action, excited to build and scale new ways of working from the ground up.
- Strong communicator who can "lead without authority" and mobilise technical and non‑technical stakeholders, from individual contributors to the CEO, around priorities and trade‑offs.
Benefits:
- Industry‑Leading Salary Package: Enjoy a highly competitive salary package that rewards your expertise and hard work.
- Flexible time off: 25 days of paid holiday, a paid birthday off, and remote‑friendly working.
- Comprehensive Pension Scheme: Secure your future with our robust pension scheme.
- Cutting‑Edge Tech Office Environment: Work in a modern, tech‑driven office environment equipped with the latest tools and technology.
- Medical Insurance: Protect yourself with our comprehensive medical insurance plan.
- Full training on our proprietary equipment alongside the core engineering team.
Work Location: This role is onsite, based in our vibrant Kings Cross office (WD6), four days a week.
