Cutting Edge Music Tech - On-Demand Vinyl Records. We are seeking an Installations Manager to help us redefine the physical and digital music industry. elasticStage is building the world’s first on-demand vinyl and CD platform, unlocking physical music for the Digital Creator era. By 2030, there will be over 250 million music creators globally, most locked out of physical formats due to high minimum runs and operational complexity. elasticStage solves this through patented on-demand vinyl and CD manufacturing technology, powering a free-to-use platform where creators can produce and sell physical releases worldwide with no upfront costs or minimum quantities.
We are looking for an Installations Manager to lead the deployment of our machines at our new production site. You will own the end-to-end installation of our unique machines at our new production site. Starting at 3 production units per month and scaling to 5-6, you will plan, coordinate, and directly support a small team of installation technicians across mechanical, electrical, and audio disciplines. This is not a desk role as you are expected to be on the floor, technically capable across the installation scope, and ready to roll up your sleeves when the team needs support. Your core mission is to make installations faster, more reliable, and more repeatable over time. You will be accountable for delivering safe, on-time, high-quality installations while continuously improving installation efficiency and repeatability.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full installation schedule: planning, resourcing, sequencing, and tracking progress across all active units.
- Day-to-day coordination of the installation team, mechanical, electrical, audio, and any specialist support.
- Being hands-on when needed, covering gaps, unblocking the team, and maintaining momentum on the floor.
- Driving continuous improvement in installation cycle time and procedure quality as the team scales.
- Serving as the primary interface between the installation team and internal stakeholders.
- Managing relationships with on-site facilities teams and external contractors.
- Tracking installation KPIs per unit and reporting to leadership.
- Ensure installation activities are executed safely and in accordance with site and electrical compliance requirements.
- Onboarding, training, and developing new team members as headcount grows.
- Coordinating with central engineering for remote support on network and systems where needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing technical installation, commissioning, or production ramp-up projects.
- Solid technical background across mechanical and/or electrical disciplines.
- Experience managing small multidisciplinary teams in hands-on, fast-paced environments.
- Strong process mindset: you naturally look for ways to standardise, document, and improve.
- Clear communicator, being able to report upward concisely and coordinate laterally across functions.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with collaborative robots or automated production equipment.
- Background in scaling a new production site or leading a ramp-up phase.
What We Offer:
- Industry-Leading Salary Package.
- Flexible time off: 25 days of paid holiday, a paid birthday off, and remote-friendly working.
- Comprehensive Pension Scheme.
- Cutting-Edge Tech Office Environment.
- Medical Insurance.
- Full training on our proprietary equipment alongside the core engineering team.
Work Location: This role is onsite, based in our vibrant Elstree office (WD6) five days a week.
