What is the Role: Solutions Architecture (Presales) Manager to lead the Solutions Architecture team across the UK. Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, and enabling a diverse, high‑performance team, while collaborating with the Sales Leadership team to define and execute strategy for growth, fostering the Elastic Community, adopting a Cloud‑first approach, and focusing on solutions rather than products.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead, mentor and grow the Solutions Architecture (Sales Engineering) team.
- Provide onboarding support, training and self‑directed education programs.
- Drive the value proposition for Elastic Cloud within the community and customers.
- Communicate and align key product insights across business functions.
- Help product and engineering teams prioritize features that have the greatest impact for users.
- Formulate and drive partner engagement strategy to overachieve regional goals.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience leading and growing a team of Solutions Architects / Sales Engineers.
- Ability to articulate and sell the benefits of our platforms and technologies, primarily in security.
- Strong grasp of distributed systems and architecture.
- Confidence presenting and selling to audiences both large and small.
- A player‑coach culture with a sincere interest in continuous growth for yourself and your team.
- Willingness to travel 30‑50% within the region.
