Pipe Welders (Arc 300mm diameter) are required for gas welding district heating pipes in trench (50mm 100mm diameter). The role involves:
- Working to high-quality standards in line with British welding specifications (training provided)
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Ensuring all welds meet required quality and safety standards
- Maintaining welding equipment and following health regulations
Looking For:
- Previous pipe welding experience (Essential) - Stick/Arc
- Gas welding experience is essential
- Previous experience working outside/in trenches
- Reliability and willingness to learn new systems and standards
Language Requirements:
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Commitment to improving English communication skills over time
