An Edinburgh-based client is seeking a Graduate RF Engineer to join their growing engineering team and help design, test, and integrate next-generation RF systems for satellite communications.
You\’ll work across the full product lifecycle—from requirements capture to lab testing—while learning from experienced RF, digital, and mechanical engineers.
As a Graduate RF Engineer, you will be involved in:
Supporting RF system design, simulation, and component selection
Contributing to requirements management, compliance tracking, and documentation
Perform lab testing with VNAs, spectrum analysers, and other equipment
Assist with algorithm development for RF control and signal processing
To be considered for the Graduate RF Engineer opportunity, you must have:
Strong understanding of RF & microwave principles
Analytical, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
Experience with RF simulation tools (ADS, CST, SystemVue)
PCB design experience (e.g., Altium)
Programming/scripting in Python, Matlab, or similar
