We’re looking for an organised and proactive Maintenance Coordinator to join a growing Operations & Maintenance team supporting innovative infrastructure projects across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, planning, and coordinating multiple moving parts in a fast‑paced operational environment.

About the Role

As Maintenance Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring maintenance activities are delivered efficiently across multiple operational sites.

You’ll work closely with engineers, contractors, customers, and internal teams to coordinate both planned and reactive maintenance activities while ensuring high service standards are consistently delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance planning & scheduling
  • Coordinating field engineers and subcontractors
  • Managing reactive breakdowns and urgent works
  • Customer and stakeholder communication
  • Operational reporting and process improvement
  • Resource planning, logistics, and diary management
  • Coordinate planned preventative maintenance and reactive works across multiple sites
  • Schedule engineers and subcontractors, ensuring resources are deployed efficiently
  • Manage engineer diaries, appointments, annual leave, training schedules, and operational planning
  • Liaise with customers, contractors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Monitor maintenance activity and elevate incidents where required
  • Maintain and update CMMS / maintenance management systems with accurate operational data
  • Support service issue resolution, customer enquiries, and complaint handling
  • Produce operational reports and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in scheduling, coordination, maintenance, engineering, or operations environments
  • A customer‑focused approach with strong problem‑solving skills
  • Good IT skills, including Excel and experience using planning or maintenance systems (CMMS)
  • Strong organisation skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and work well under pressure
  • An interest in engineering, utilities, infrastructure, or energy sectors
