About the Role
We're looking for a commercially focused Inside Sales Representative to help grow our customer base and strengthen existing relationships.
Working as part of the sales team, you'll manage a portfolio of customers, identify new business opportunities, provide responsive commercial support, and help deliver an outstanding customer experience.
This role combines sales development, account management, quotation support, and cross-functional collaboration to drive sustainable revenue growth and maximise commercial opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales through account growth, cross-selling, and new business development.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries, preparing quotations, processing requests, and providing product and commercial information via telephone, email, and digital channels.
- Qualify incoming leads and proactively engage prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.
- Work closely with field sales colleagues to support strategic accounts and ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Assist with the introduction of new products by communicating key benefits, pricing, and supporting materials to customers.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues across sales, marketing, product management, customer service, and technical teams to deliver effective commercial solutions.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and opportunity pipelines within the CRM system.

- Experience using CRM platforms, ERP or order management systems, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Word.

- Experience within the chemicals, manufacturing, industrial, or technical products sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
