We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, positive, and friendly person to join the Quality Assurance team as a Quality Assurance Engineer at our Doncaster fulfilment centre.
In a commercial organisation that prides itself on being an industry leader in relation to technical and quality matters, the Quality Assurance Engineer plays a key role in assessing the quality and compliance of the company’s products in the UKAS accredited Test Laboratory.
The key responsibilities of the successful candidate will be:
- Conduct visual inspections on the organisation's inbound products.
- Take routine samples of the organisation's inbound products.
- Conduct a range of testing on representative samples, testing can include:
- Conductor Resistance
- Material dimensions
- Mechanical properties
- Medium Voltage VLF testing
Essential experience / skills:
- Quality Engineer.
- Whilst experience in material testing or an electrical background is preferable it is not essential, as training is provided for all aspects of the role.
- An understanding of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel).
- The position does require the ability to work independently and have a strong work ethic.
- It also requires a desire to operate in a fast-paced environment, and in return, the candidate can expect a challenging and rewarding career.
