We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, positive, and friendly person to join the Quality Assurance team as a Quality Assurance Engineer at our Doncaster fulfilment centre.

In a commercial organisation that prides itself on being an industry leader in relation to technical and quality matters, the Quality Assurance Engineer plays a key role in assessing the quality and compliance of the company’s products in the UKAS accredited Test Laboratory.

The key responsibilities of the successful candidate will be:

  • Conduct visual inspections on the organisation's inbound products.
  • Take routine samples of the organisation's inbound products.
  • Conduct a range of testing on representative samples, testing can include:
  • Conductor Resistance
  • Material dimensions
  • Mechanical properties
  • Medium Voltage VLF testing
  • A full list of testing can be found on our website.
  • Record measurements taken using a range of Microsoft Office software.
  • Reporting of non-conformances.
  • Support the Laboratory Manager with all aspects of their role.
  • Essential experience / skills:

    • Quality Engineer.
    • Whilst experience in material testing or an electrical background is preferable it is not essential, as training is provided for all aspects of the role.
    • An understanding of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel).
    • The position does require the ability to work independently and have a strong work ethic.
    • It also requires a desire to operate in a fast-paced environment, and in return, the candidate can expect a challenging and rewarding career.
