Job description
Our finance team provides a variety of services for the company starting with daily, weekly & monthly reports, providing invoices for various areas of the business, budgeting & cost controlling. The number of tasks is expanding and to be able to perform them accurately & in a timely manner we are currently recruiting for a new Finance Assistant. This is a 100% office-based role at our operations site in Denaby, Doncaster.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of company reports
- Maintaining up-to-date records and transactions
- Creation and processing of invoices in given areas
- Support with maintaining purchase ledger and purchase order book
- Support with maintaining stock control invoicing and costs
- Other finance related ad-hoc tasks
Person Specification:
- Attention to detail
- Can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- IT literate including Microsoft Office suite including Excel & Outlook
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with colleagues and stakeholders
- Transport and logistics knowledge is an advantage
Hours of work are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week).
