Supporting the Network Operations Manager in all BAU network related activities
Working with our vendors ensuring they perform according to their SLAs and driving a customer-first service vision.
Ensuring a successful day-to-day delivery of all Network Services to approximately 70 sites globally including cloud services (Azure and GCP) and Co-Location Data Centres covering Cisco LAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi and Palo Alto firewalls.
Working with a globally dispersed Site Services teams to understand impact assessment for incidents/major incidents.
Working with our other service aligned Operations Managers to ensure service stability across a complex and heavily regulated landscape.
Engage in Service Operations tasks across all phases of the lifecycle including Incident, Problem, Change and Release.
Delivering / Owning Service Improvements and small projects.
Deputise for the Network Operations Manager as appropriate.
Ensuring security, privacy and quality practices are embedded in everything we do
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Experience in an IT operations or service delivery function.
Knowledge of ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change and release.
Experience working with enterprise technology solutions.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, network security principals and firewall management.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with Service Management technologies such as Service Now.
An awareness of different project management methodologies.
Experience working with outsourced partners to deliver IT services.
Strong organisational skills with a good attention to detail.
