Your role:

This role offers a combined role of strategic HR business partnering and benefits and fleet management for Elanco’s UK and Ireland operations in partnership with third-party providers. The role includes providing HRBP partnership and coaching to designated client groups, leading key HR projects, and overall management of benefits and fleet programs, ensuring they are competitive, cost-effective and aligned with the global benefits strategy.

Your responsibilities:

HRBP responsibilities:

  • In addition to leading on UK/I benefits and fleet program, this role will also include HRBP responsibilities providing HR support, advice and guidance to managers.
  • Specific activities include supporting recruitment processes, onboarding of new hires, managing employee relation cases, ensuring legal compliance, facilitating engagement initiatives, compensation processes, participating in lead team meetings, etc.
  • Support & lead HR projects, and other associated HRBP activities.
  • To support leaders through the planning and execution of engagement initiatives, including accessing and understanding Voice of the Employee survey results
  • To support leaders through annual compensation processes, such as Year-End Compensation and in-line promotions, and other compensation analysis based on business need
  • To facilitate educational or informational sessions for leaders and employees
  • To provide guidance to leaders on continuous coaching and performance improvement.

UK & Ireland Benefits Management:

  • Manage & administer all employee benefits programs, including pension plans, insurance products, healthcare plans, flexible benefits, leave policies, wellness programs.
  • Partner with third-party providers and brokers to evaluate and select fit for purpose benefit offering, balancing a competitive benefit program offering with cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee the annual UK Flexible Benefit renewal process, including portal updates, testing, and employee communications.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring service level agreements are met and all necessary documentation (SOWs, approvals, market reviews, legal reviews) are in place.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the benefit choices with a compensation impact are coordinated and recorded appropriately between the benefit, HCM and payroll systems.
  • Collaborate with Finance and invoicing teams on benefit cost accounting, accruals, and planning. Address supplier invoice queries.
  • Act as Tier 2 point of contact for employees for benefit related questions, where these cannot be answered by 3rd party provider or Tier 1 ESC.
  • Lead the UK defined Contribution pension scheme governance program.

UK & Ireland Fleet program:

  • Own the UK/Ireland fleet policy, ensuring compliance with the Global Fleet policy and partnering with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the relationship with Elanco’s fleet provider, ensuring SLA compliance and managing the escalation of local issues. Ensure the local fleet processes are efficient and aligned with the global program.
  • Manage monthly fleet report changes, communicating updates to Payroll. Provide fleet reports to Finance for accounting purposes and support invoice resolution.
  • Manage the annual fleet insurance renewal process for the UK and Ireland.
  • Oversee the e-driving program in collaboration with the third-party provider and local H&S team.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Support Irish payroll administration, including data input for non-automated pay components.
  • Partner with our third-party providers to promote well-being programs and calendar, educational seminars and well-being services available through the employee benefit offering.
  • Collaborate with the local HRBP on the HR policies which have an interdependence with employee benefits, e.g. Sickness Policy, Parental leaves, etc. to ensure we are competitive in our employee value proposition.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Proven experience in HR Business Partnering and employee benefits, a minimum of five years’ experience in human resources.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits management and administration.
  • CIPD qualified or actively pursuing CIPD qualification
