Part Time: 22 hours per week – Monday to Friday
Hours of work: 3 days per week inclusive of Fridays (8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30 – 3.30pm on Fridays)

Are you a detail-focused and reliable finance professional looking for a part-time role within the UK’s thriving homebuilding industry? Elan Homes – a leading, privately-owned housebuilder renowned for creating exceptional homes across the Midlands, North West, South West England, and North Wales – is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the Finance Team on a 3-day per week basis, including Fridays.
Your Role:
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Matching supplier invoices to delivery notes.
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Answering telephone and email enquiries professionally.
- Carrying out general office duties for the Accounts function, including filing, scanning, and photocopying.
- Supporting the wider Finance Team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar accounts or purchase ledger role.
- Excellent numeracy skills and strong attention to detail.
- Good computer literacy and confidence using accounting systems and Microsoft applications.
- A flexible, team-player approach with the ability to meet deadlines.
- A methodical, honest, reliable, and trustworthy work ethic.
- The ability to work in a confident and professional manner.
