Role description – depending on experience
- Export operations and administration for Export Groupage/Part Loads from UK & Ireland
- Plan Irish Export Groupage/Part Loads transiting from Ireland via UK to Scandinavia
- Liaise with transport planners, warehouse and shipping lines
- All aspects of Groupage/Part Load export operations including on call rota
- Completing Export Customs Clearances – using Descartes/Destin8
- Completing Export Transit Documentation – using Descartes
Person specification:
- Previous experience in logistics/groupage planning is preferred
- A confident and approachable person
- A high level of organisation and attention to detail
- Customer focussed with the determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of service
- Good decision-making skills, ability to evaluate, prioritise and plan while responding to quickly changing workloads
- A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities, able to work on their own initiative within a time critical setting and as part of a team
- IT literate
- A willingness to learn other roles in the team to build on personal experience
