Role description β depending on experience
- Export operations and administration for Export Full Loads from UK & IE
- Plan Irish Imports transiting via UK to IE β both Full loads and Groupage
- Customer Services
- Take bookings and create in our internal software
- Liaise with transport planners and shipping lines
- All aspects of full load export operations including on call rota
- Completing Export Customs Clearances β using Descartes/Destin8
- Completing Export Transit Documentation β using Descartes
Person specification:
- Experience is essential - Exports / Imports / Groupage or FTL
- A confident and approachable person
- A high level of organisation and attention to detail
- Customer focussed with the determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of service
- Good decision-making skills, ability to evaluate, prioritise and plan while responding to quickly changing workloads
- A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities, able to work on their own initiative within a time critical setting and as part of a team
- IT literate
- A willingness to learn other roles in the team to build on personal experience
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday (Apply online only) hours (overtime as and when required)
- On call one week in 5 - taking calls on weekday evenings / and working Saturday morning until finish (a Monday would then be off in that week)
