Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the Head Chef and kitchen team with daily food preparation and cooking..
- Preparing ingredients and dishes to a consistently high standard..
- Supporting the chefs during busy lunch and dinner services..
- Ensuring food is prepared and presented according to the restaurant's standards..
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and kitchen organisation..
- Monitoring stock levels, storing ingredients correctly and minimising food waste..
- Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service..

Essential Qualities & Requirements
- A good level of spoken and understood English is essential, to communicate effectively with the kitchen team, understand instructions and follow recipes..
- Previous experience working in a professional restaurant kitchen is essential..
- Reliability and punctuality – someone who consistently turns up on time and takes their responsibilities seriously..
- Long-term commitment – we are looking for someone who wants a stable position rather than temporary or short-term work..
- A genuine interest in cooking and a willingness to learn and develop their skills..
- A strong work ethic and the ability to remain calm, organised and efficient during busy services..
- Good knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food preparation and kitchen hygiene..
