To lead, direct, and optimise end-to-end logistics and storage operations. The manager will be responsible for strategic planning, operational control, compliance, and team leadership to ensure the secure, compliant, and cost-effective movement and storage of goods.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching, ensuring high-value stock is managed securely.
- Plan and optimize space utilization, workflow, and inventory management systems to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with UK import regulations, health and safety standards, and insurance regulations.
- Maintain safe storage, particularly for temperature-controlled or hazardous materials.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and couriers to manage logistics capacity and improve service levels.
- Produce regular management reports on logistics performance, inventory accuracy, and financial expenditure.
