Duties and responsibilities related to the Demi Chef de Partie role:

  • Assist in preparing and presenting dishes according to established standards, ensuring consistency at all times.
  • Support the Chef de Partie in monitoring and maintaining quality throughout all stages of food preparation and presentation.
  • Support the training and development of Commis Chefs and junior team members.
  • Assist with stock control for your section, including helping with ordering supplies and maintaining appropriate levels.
  • Ensure equipment and tools in your section are kept clean, organised, and in safe working condition.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations within the kitchen at all times.

About You: You will have proven experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within a hotel environment. You are confident in supporting the management of a kitchen section and maintaining high culinary standards while working efficiently under pressure. A reliable team player, you support colleagues in consistently delivering exceptional dishes.
