Monday - Friday - DAY SHIFT
Our client, a leading specialist gas power company, with facilities across the country, are looking for an experienced control systems engineer to manage all site maintenance and installation of production machinery, automated machinery, robotics, and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring all control, instrumentation, systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably
- Performing maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of field instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, and level devices
- Installation, commissioning, and full setup of new equipment and control systems
- Control system programming and configuration (DCS, PLC, and associated safety systems)
- PLC setup, programming, modification, and troubleshooting
- Configuration and maintenance of HMI and SCADA systems
- Electrical fault finding on low, medium, and high-voltage auxiliary systems
- Electrical wiring, panel termination, and control cabinet modifications
- Supporting plant outages, shutdowns, and return-to-service activities
Skills / Experience / Qualifications Required
- NVQ level 3 in an Electrical discipline
- 18th Edition
- Experience on PLC Systems and Relays
- Experience as an Electrical Engineer / EC&I Engineer / E&I Engineer / Maintenance Electrician / Multi Skilled Engineer
- Experience of Electrical maintenance within any of the following backgrounds - Gas Generation / Manufacturing / Pharmaceuticals / Chemical / Power Generation / Generator / CHP Units / Biogas
