We are looking for an Electrical Generator Engineer to join our clients leading engineering team, working across the south west of the UK to service, maintain, and repair generators.
Responsibilities:
- Performed maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and automation equipment across all operational plant and machinery.
- Maintained, calibrated, and repaired control, instrumentation, monitoring, and automation systems.
- Delivered minor project work, including the design and implementation of new infrastructure and system improvements.
- Acted as an Authorised Person for high-voltage (HV) switching operations, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
- Provided technical guidance and training to team members and the wider business to support safe and efficient operations.
- Carrying out planned maintenance and emergency breakdown support on electrical systems within generators and CHP units.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on electrical equipment and control systems.
- Supporting installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new systems.
- Delivering a high standard of customer service while working on client sites.
- Working both independently and as part of a wider technical support team.
