We are looking for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our leading engineering team, working across the south of the UK to service, maintain, and repair diesel engines within recycling and renewable energy sites. Full training will be provided to upskill from vehicles to plant, large engines, generators, and associated machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Service, maintenance, and rebuilds of diesel engines
- Service, maintenance, and repair of mobile plant machinery - material handlers, loading shovels, forklifts, cranes, skid steers
- Service, maintenance, and repair of power generation machinery - CHP units, generators, biogas systems
- Service, maintenance, and repair of conveyor systems, shredders, balers, compactors
- Carrying out breakdown support on CHP units and generators
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on mechanical, electrical, and control systems
- Supporting installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new systems
- Delivering a high standard of customer service while working on client sites
- Working both independently and as part of a wider technical support team
