My client, a leading Waste & Recycling company, are looking for a Recycling Operative to join the team.
Responsibilities
- Sort and separate different types of recyclable materials (paper, plastics, metals, glass, etc.) on a conveyor line or in designated areas.
- Remove non-recyclable and contaminated materials to ensure high-quality output.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Follow all health & safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in a recycling or waste facility.
- Experience operating plant machinery - telehandlers, forklifts, loading shovels etc.
- Ability to conduct machinery inspections and schedule maintenance.
- Computer literate.
