My client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Production Operator to join their growing team. This role will involve supporting manufacturing processes across an animal feed facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating production plants, carrying out basic maintenance of recovery systems, and safely monitoring plant operations to ensure optimal site performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor site outputs and processes using a range of control systems
- Carry out basic maintenance of plant systems to ensure efficient operation
- Complete routine inspections across all plant processes
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of health and safety
- Accurately record plant data using CMMS systems
- Operate a variety of plant machinery on site
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within heavy process related production environment - animal feed, malting, recycling, renewable energy, chemical, oil & gas.
- Experience operating plant machinery such as telehandlers, forklifts, and loading shovels
- Ability to carry out machinery inspections and support scheduled maintenance activities
- Full UK driving licence
- Computer literate with the ability to use digital systems
