We have partnered with a leading innovator in machinery used in manufacturing, packaging, warehouse environments, who due to continued success are looking to recruit a Baler & Compactor Engineer.

The successful applicant will complete scheduled maintenance, attend breakdowns, assist with installations and provide technical support.

The main responsibilities of the Baler & Compactor Engineer will include:

  • Maintenance of balers, compactors, recycling shredders and associated machinery
  • Ensuring plant equipment functioning in the correct manner
  • Maintaining all equipment on site, such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, and valves
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic repairs
  • Installation of machinery onsite
  • Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment
  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work
  • Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis
  • Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety
  • Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate
  • Responsible for the protecting, always, of the integrity of the Company through positive and constructive actions and attitude
