We have partnered with a leading innovator in machinery used in manufacturing, packaging, warehouse environments, who due to continued success are looking to recruit a Baler & Compactor Engineer.
The successful applicant will complete scheduled maintenance, attend breakdowns, assist with installations and provide technical support.
The main responsibilities of the Baler & Compactor Engineer will include:
- Maintenance of balers, compactors, recycling shredders and associated machinery
- Ensuring plant equipment functioning in the correct manner
- Maintaining all equipment on site, such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, and valves
- Hydraulic and pneumatic repairs
- Installation of machinery onsite
- Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work
- Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis
- Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety
- Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate
- Responsible for the protecting, always, of the integrity of the Company through positive and constructive actions and attitude
