Shift: Monday - Friday - DAYS

We are looking for an Electrically biased Generator Engineer to join our leading engineering team, working across the north west of the UK to service, maintain, and repair generators.

Responsibilities:

  • Performed maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and automation equipment across all operational plant and machinery.
  • Maintained, calibrated, and repaired control, instrumentation, monitoring, and automation systems.
  • Delivered minor project work, including the design and implementation of new infrastructure and system improvements.
  • Acted as an Authorised Person for high-voltage (HV) switching operations, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
  • Provided technical guidance and training to team members and the wider business to support safe and efficient operations.
  • Carried out planned maintenance and emergency breakdown support on electrical systems within generators and CHP units.
  • Diagnosed and repaired faults on electrical equipment and control systems.
  • Supported installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new systems.
  • Delivered a high standard of customer service while working on client sites.
  • Worked both independently and as part of a wider technical support team.
