We have partnered with a leading manufacturing company, who due to continued success are looking to recruit a Shift Engineer.
The main responsibilities of the Shift Engineer will include:
- Ensuring plant equipment is functioning in the correct manner.
- Maintaining all equipment on site, such as fast moving machinery, packaging machines, robotics, conveyor systems, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and valves.
- Installation of machinery onsite.
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic maintenance.
- Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment.
- Fault finding and diagnostics.
- Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work.
- Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
- Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
- Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate.
- Responsible for protecting the integrity of the Company through positive and constructive actions and attitude.
