We’re looking for an Electrical Generator Engineer to join clients leading engineering team, working across the south west of the UK to service, maintain, and repair generators.

The main responsibilities of the Electrical Generator Engineer will include:

  • Performed maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and automation equipment across all operational plant and machinery.
  • Maintained, calibrated, and repaired control, instrumentation, monitoring, and automation systems.
  • Delivered minor project work, including the design and implementation of new infrastructure and system improvements.
  • Acted as an Authorised Person for high-voltage (HV) switching operations, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
  • Provided technical guidance and training to team members and the wider business to support safe and efficient operations.
  • Carrying out planned maintenance and emergency breakdown support on electrical systems within generators and CHP units.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on electrical equipment and control systems.
  • Supporting installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new systems.
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service while working on client sites.
  • Working both independently and as part of a wider technical support team.
