The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining production machinery, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults quickly and effectively.
- Maintain a range of production equipment including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and automated machinery.
- Work with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Support continuous improvement projects to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety.
- Assist production teams with machine faults, changeovers, and equipment set-ups when required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
