About the Role:
In this role, you’ll take ownership of on-site electrical teams delivering solar PV and battery storage installations. Beyond day-to-day supervision, you’ll help shape a positive team environment, uphold strict safety standards, and contribute to improving how projects are delivered.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing and supporting site-based electrical personnel, including qualified electricians, trainees, and subcontract partners
- Championing safe working practices and ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation and internal procedures
- Overseeing installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of solar and battery systems
- Carrying out site audits, risk assessments, and quality control checks
- Spotting opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency on-site
- Feeding back insights from completed projects to strengthen future delivery
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical electrical issues when they arise
- Tracking labour and material usage to support cost management
- Collaborating with project teams to keep delivery aligned with timelines and budgets
Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience supervising electrical installations or teams
- Practical experience with solar PV and/or battery storage systems
- Qualified 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Qualified Electrician
- Commercial awareness, with the ability to track and manage on-site costs
- Full UK driving licence
