We’re looking for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our leading engineering team, working to service, maintain, and repair diesel engines within recycling & renewable energy sites. Full training is provided to upskill from vehicles to plant, large engines, generators, and associated machinery.
The main responsibilities of the Mobile Vehicle Technician will include:
- Service, maintenance and rebuilds of diesel engines
- Service, maintenance and repair of power generation machinery - CHP units, generators, biogas systems
- Service, maintenance and repair of mobile plant machinery - material handlers, loading shovels, forklifts, cranes, skid steers
- Service, maintenance and repair of conveyor systems, shredders, balers, compactors
- Carrying out breakdown support on CHP units and generators
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on mechanical, electrical, and control systems
- Supporting installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new systems
- Delivering a high standard of customer service while working on client sites
- Working both independently and as part of a wider technical support team
