Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking skilled Multi Skilled Engineers to join their established technical and engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking, investment-driven company with modern production facilities and a strong focus on continuous improvement, reliability, and operational excellence.
The successful Multi Skilled Engineer will play a key role in ensuring maximum plant uptime, driving performance improvements, and maintaining high engineering standards across the site. The main responsibilities of the Multi Skilled Engineer will include:
- Mechanical and electrical maintenance across all production operations
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown support
- Ensuring machinery is maintained and fully functional automated machinery, robotics, conveyor systems mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics
- Fault finding and diagnostics on PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce downtime, and improve cost efficiency
- Assisting production teams with machinery issues, changeovers, and machine set-ups
- Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades
- Working to health & safety standards and site compliance procedures
- Providing guidance and relevant training to production staff where appropriate
- Accurately completing maintenance documentation and reporting
