We are looking for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our client's leading engineering team, working across the south of the UK to service, maintain, and repair diesel engines within recycling and renewable energy sites.

Full training provided to upskill from vehicles to plant, large engines, generators, and associated machinery.

The main responsibilities of the Mobile Vehicle Technician will include:

  • Service, maintenance and rebuilds of diesel engines
  • Service, maintenance and repair of mobile plant machinery - material handlers, loading shovels, forklifts, cranes, skid steers
  • Service, maintenance and repair of power generation machinery - CHP units, generators, biogas systems
  • Service, maintenance and repair of conveyor systems, shredders, balers, compactors
  • Carrying out breakdown support on CHP units and generators
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on mechanical, electrical, and control systems
  • Supporting installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new systems
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service while working on client sites
  • Working both independently and as part of a wider technical support team
