My client, an agricultural company with a heavy focus on sustainability and renewable energy, is looking for an Operative to join their team.

Agricultural Operative - Responsibilities:
  • Operating and monitoring plant systems and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production.
  • Carrying out routine inspections, start-ups, shutdowns, and plant changeovers in line with operating procedures.
  • Responding effectively to plant faults, alarms, and abnormal operating conditions to minimise downtime.
  • Assisting with planned outages, maintenance activities, and contractor supervision as required.
  • Maintaining accurate operational logs, shift reports, and handovers.
Agricultural Operative - Skills and Attributes:
  • Experience within agricultural machinery / biogas / anaerobic digestion / water treatment plants.
  • Experience operating farm machinery - tractors, telehandlers etc.
  • Ability to conduct machinery inspections and schedule maintenance.
  • Computer literate.
