About the Role:
As a Junior Consultant, this is an exciting opportunity to develop a dual profile – The data scientist and strategic consultant. You will be working on challenging data science projects with international clients across multiple industries, building bespoke marketing analytics solutions to answer our clients’ key questions.
What you’ll be doing as a Junior Consultant:
- Apply econometrics using data science and AI for business problems.
- Understand clients’ business context and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
- Work on Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) and Customer Analytics projects end-to-end, from gathering and analysing data to building statistical machine learning models and delivering presentations.
- Work on 1-3 projects across global markets and industries such as retail, consumer goods, luxury fashion, insurance, banking, private equity, tech partners and many more.
- Contribute to Ekimetrics R&D to support the development of new methodologies and build data Engineering/Architecture capabilities in the office.
- Contribute to Eki.Life culture initiatives, well-being and help drive our CSR commitments.

About You:
Ekimetrics is seeking individuals who can wear 2 hats – the data scientist and the strategic consultant. You will most likely be a recent graduate with internship experience or early in your professional career.
What you need to succeed:
- A degree in economics or a similar analytical field (e.g. econometrics, statistics, mathematics, or other quantitative degrees like Engineering, Data Science, etc.)
- Prior experience (academic or professional) in data analysis/ modelling / advanced analytics or ML.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R - we use Python at Eki.
- Capacity to work and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Interest in Data and Marketing to make an impact for businesses.
- Ability to work within an inclusive and diverse team to deliver innovative solutions.
- A passion for joining a small team and a keen interest in personal learning and development.

Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work on-site a minimum of 2 days a week in London, UK (Hybrid)
