We are seeking a talented Bid Writer / Bid Manager who combines excellent writing skills with a genuine interest in the technology that underpins effective knowledge management. As part of the sales team, you will be the sole bid specialist within the business and will take ownership of every bid the company is involved in — from early engagement and strategy through to submission and post-bid review. This is a highly visible role, offering real autonomy and influence.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in the Construction, Highways, Renewables or Energy sectors, who understand how to translate complex technical and commercial information into clear, compelling proposals. The company is undergoing a significant transformation, with ambitious plans to grow from £150m to £500m. To support this, we are looking for an individual who can not only lead the bid function but also contribute more broadly to the sales and growth agenda, helping to shape processes, content libraries and bid strategy as the business scales.
An interest in — or experience of — knowledge management systems, content management, bid libraries, or related technology is important. You will play a key role in ensuring that knowledge is captured, structured and reused effectively across bids.
The role is hybrid, with an expectation of three days per week in one of two London offices, either the City or West London (NW postcode). To apply, please submit your CV highlighting your bid writing experience and any relevant IT or knowledge-management expertise.
