Glen Group is a fast-growing, privately owned cleaning and facilities services provider operating across England, Scotland and Wales. As we continue to expand, we're creating a brand-new role for a Commercial Modelling Analyst to sit at the heart of our commercial and operations teams.
The Role
You'll turn labour, equipment and site data into the insight that drives smarter pricing, stronger margins and better contract performance. From building cost models for new bids to tracking live contract profitability, you'll be the trusted numbers person behind some big commercial decisions including the business case for cleaning robotics and automation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building and maintaining cost models for tenders, renewals and contract variations
- Tracking contract performance against budget, flagging risks early
- Investigating cost anomalies and margin leakage across the contract portfolio
- Analysing time and attendance data to spot labour cost discrepancies
- Assessing cleaning equipment and robotics performance to build ROI cases
- Producing clear reporting for senior leadership, bid teams and contract managers
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a commercial or financial analyst role in the cleaning, FM, or another labour-intensive contracted services sector
- Strong Excel modelling skills; Power BI/Power Query experience a plus
- A track record of building cost or pricing models
- Comfort working with large, messy operational datasets
- Sharp analytical mind with great attention to detail
- Confident communicator who can explain data to non-financial stakeholders
Bonus Points For
- Experience with time & attendance systems or IoT/equipment telemetry data
- Part/fully qualified CIMA, ACCA, or a numerate degree
