SHORT TERM CONTRACT - 6 MONTHS - IMMEDIATE START
LOCATION - Central London, EC1V
PACKAGE - Basic salary £60,000 - 70,000 plus benefits
The purpose of the role is to support all strategic sourcing activities including tender execution and supplier negotiations, contract implementation, supplier relationship management, contractual compliance and risk mitigation for the Fixtures, Fittings and Operational Spend Equipment categories. Focused on supporting key projects delivering new properties, refurbishing existing hotels and repurposing current spaces. They will play a leading role in supporting the business to deliver maximum value and financial returns across the projects, and ensuring they are sustainable and delivered on time and on budget. They will work closely with General Managers, Project Leads, Contractors and Design Teams.
Responsibilities
- Support all strategic sourcing activities including tender execution and supplier negotiations.
- Contract implementation, supplier relationship management, contractual compliance and risk mitigation for Fixtures, Fittings and Operational Spend Equipment categories.
- Support key projects delivering new properties, refurbishments and repurposing current spaces.
- Collaborate with General Managers, Project Leads, Contractors and Design Teams to ensure value delivery and project outcomes.
Candidate / Qualifications
- Full CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) qualified preferred but not mandatory and educated to degree standard or equivalent.
- Proven track record of sourcing and managing spend in Fixtures, Fittings & Equipment and Operational Spend categories.
- Highly motivated individual with the ability to connect with, and influence senior stakeholders at all leadership levels inside and outside of the company.
- Results oriented and highly commercial.
- Strong supplier and category management capabilities, analytical capabilities and negotiation skills.
- Strong communicator, proactive, self-starter and independent worker.
- Experience in project management and ability to multi task and coordinate project plans.
- Ability to work to set budgets and timelines aligned to project schedules.
