EKFB is a collaboration of four FM companies responsible for constructing the HS2 line, spanning 80 miles from Southam to Wendover. The route includes approximately 30 static compounds and numerous mobile and static welfare cabins. We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Mobile Water Technician to ensure water systems within these welfare cabins meet ACOP L8 compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine temperature checks of hot and cold water systems in welfare cabins across the HS2 route.
- Monitor and record water system performance to ensure compliance with L8 (Legionella) and other relevant standards.
- Inspect water tanks, pipework, and outlets for signs of contamination or inefficiency.
- Maintain accurate logs and compliance records, both digital and paper‑based.
- Liaise with site teams to coordinate access and minimise operational disruption.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within the water industry or a similar compliance‑focused environment.
- Full driving licence and ability to travel across multiple sites.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with site teams.
- Commitment to safe working practices and flexibility/adaptability to changing requirements.
