About The Role EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects. We\’re looking for a Traffic Manager to join our Logistics and Security team at our Greatworth to Southam section of works. As a Traffic Manager, you will be responsible for safe and efficient delivery of Temporary Traffic Management across our section of the HS2 project. You will provide guidance on all matters relating to temporary traffic management, ensuring design compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. You will support the maintenance of the Highways Consents Register and investigate all incidents involving HS2 LGVs or inside the temporary traffic management. You will also manage all aspects of Highways Consents and the submission of consents on to the Street Manager. Ensure that the Local Traffic Management Plans are adhered to and provide guidance to the delivery teams on all matters relating to transport and temporary traffic management. Ensure the business complies with requirements of the Act regarding temporary highways consents. Control and reduce operating costs, providing specialist knowledge relating to temporary traffic management. About The Candidate Key Skills and Qualifications: You will be there to assist in consenting approvals for breaks from highway, PROW closures and advising on best design at access and egress points to site. You will add value to the team through experience and forward thinking. You will have experience in one (or more) of the following areas to reinforce the delivery of Temporary Traffic Management Managerial experience of TTM on major infrastructure projects Training in Temporary Traffic Management design Have extensive knowledge of all published guidance and regulations on Traffic ManagementAbout The Company EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.
