About The Role EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high-speed rail projects. We\’re currently recruiting for a Project Control Manager/Lead to join our Routewide team based in either in Milton Keynes or Brackley. In this role you will be an expert in setting up and overseeing Integrated Project Controls system for complex and multidisciplinary programmes. You will possess proven ability to manage project budgets, track actual cost and provide accurate forecast (including Bill of Quantities and spend) analysis and strong capability in producing executive dashboards, KPIs, variance analysis, and performance reporting. You will have skills in identifying, evaluating and managing change, with strong NEC knowledge (project financial and commercial awareness) and also proficiency in using earned value (EV) for performance measurement. You will ensure appropriate governance in place and arrange external reviews as required. Follow and support reviews of the Project Control Management Plan. Part of this role is also to identify and manage Risk and Opportunity (R&O), proficiency in controlling schedules (P6/MS Project), including critical path analysis and experience in liaising with multiple teams and client to ensure alignment. You will have understanding of delivery concepts (ie. Site Agent in the past) and strong communication skills to provide effective messages/guidance to the teams. About The Candidate Degree (or equivalent) with a numerate qualification Previous experience of cost management systems within a major civil engineering project (preferable with previous civils experience – such as Site Agent) Previous knowledge of construction scheduling using Primavera P6 Strong knowledge of CESMM4 and how to measure civil engineering works. Good understanding of NEC3 contracts. Preferable understanding of BIM concepts and its relation to project controls (4D and 5D) Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills) Preferrable previous experience with HS2 processes and reporting requirements About The Company EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.
