In this role you will provide technical administration support to the Highways related temporary consents for EKFB works required under HS2 Act, Schedule 4 & Route Wide Traffic Management Plan. You will manage consents updates document control and SharePoint and support the team day to day admin with highways pre application meetings and note taking. You will record traffic related incidents in the public highway on our HORACE system and investigate with senior traffic manager as relevant. Part of this role is to add updates to internal audit Novade system and support with PowerPoint presentations of forward plans for internal monthly meetings as well as Traffic Liaison Group. In addition you will ensure process documents, management plans as well as the internal intranet are kept up to date.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of large-scale civil engineering projects.
- Understanding of HS2 Act and guidance Documents (desirable).
- NRSWA coordination CoP.
- Traffic Management Act (desirable).
- Awareness of the constraints/sensitivities from working in the rural environment.
- IT skills - Office, SharePoint, Document Management Systems.
- Awareness of GIS platforms Street Manager (desirable).
- Driving licence is required for this role.
