At EKFB we're shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe's latest high speed rail projects.
We're looking to recruit an Environmental Manager to join our team based at our Greatworth to Southam section of works. In this role you will lead and manage the project environment team, providing essential support to the project delivery team and ensuring environmental sustainability requirements are met. You will play a key role in managing HS2 contract requirements related to environmental management, supporting the supply chain, and identifying opportunities for innovation and best practices to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
As the main point of contact for project directors, delivery teams, and external stakeholders, you will oversee communications, ensure compliance with environmental standards, and provide expert advice on environmental requirements. You will also implement assurance processes, monitor sustainability data, and lead training and awareness programs for colleagues and suppliers. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile infrastructure project, driving environmental sustainability and fostering continuous improvement in environmental management practices.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in delivering environmental management for large infrastructure projects; experience of managing a team of specialists and stakeholder management.
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, working towards IEMA full membership and environmental chartership (or similar).
- Full UK driving licence is required for this role and access to a vehicle.
