We’re looking for a Document Controller to join our site team based from our Calvert section. This position will be based from our \'West Street\' compound near Calvert in Buckinghamshire. In order to get to our office, you will need to hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle or your own transport.
The role will require you to ensure that all communications between EKFB and the Client, Supply Chain and Stakeholders are accurately recorded and shared with the wider project team. You\'ll be responsible for the training of new users and ensuring that all access is granted within the EDMS are relevant and appropriate.
You will be collaborating with the EKFB team to ensure that EKFB Document Control protocols are adhered to, upskilling and sharing best practices with the wider team where required. This includes liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure correct use of the EDMS and being the first point of contact in respect of document management.
We expect you to encourage and train project team members to view and manage information electronically as agreed with project leadership. You will need to support the escalation of any issues in respect of overdue and/or outstanding documentation with relevant project stakeholders.
You\'ll contribute to both internal and external training support guides. We would expect you to be fully aware and compliant with Client EDMS requirements so that the delivery of Project documentation is achieved without delay. You must maintain responsibility for your own workload, continually developing your skills and knowledge.
You will also be supporting cultural change within the business unit and project by promoting a digital approach to information management.
