About The Role EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.   We are seeking to recruit a Site Agent in the Buckingham area, with extensive earthworks experience. This role is based from our West Street compound just outside of Buckingham. Due to the location of our site compounds, and the requirement to drive on site, you must hold a full driving license.   As a Site Agent, you will need to assist with the construction strategy, this includes kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes, procurement and design deliverable schedules.   This position will need to be able to liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works to carry out the activities to the required standards, programme and budget. This role will also need to manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of site and Section Engineers.   The Agent will assist with the co-ordination of construction operations, ensuring they conform to the contract requirements and the required level of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) is a key part of this role. This position will also assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations and cost control. About The Candidate HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent. Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills. Must have extensive experience of working on large scale Earthworks projects You must hold the following competencies: SMSTS CSCS White, White/Yellow, Red-Experienced, Black-Manager or Gold-Supervisor You must hold a full driving license About The Company EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall.
