The role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Administrator to join our sales team. This is a sales support role ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the achievement of sales targets. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
To succeed in this role, the individual must be able to perform the duties required, in accordance with established standards for the position. The suitable candidate must be able to successfully complete each essential task:
- Provide administrative support to the sales team
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain customer databases and sales records
- Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts and reports
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth sales operations
- Office based in our Milton Keynes office
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Inside Sales Team lead and Account Managers / VCIOs
- Coordinate your schedule with the sales team
- Prepare, coordinate & process sales quotes with account managers
- Maintain and update sales opportunities / customer records
- Develop monthly sales reports and KPIs
- Communicate important feedback from customers internally
- Ensure sales targets are met and report any deviations.
- Stay up to date with new product and feature launches and ensure the sales team is on board
- Ensure high levels of communication are maintained with customers
- Ensure Quoting templates are kept up to date to reflect accurate product and service margins
- Work with other departments, i.e. Deployments and projects team to ensure orders are processed within SLA.
Experience:
- 2+ years’ work experience as a Sales Administrator or Sales Support Agent is preferred.
Skills:
- Hands-on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- A team player with a high level of dedication
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
- Be adaptable in a fast-paced environment and are willing to learn
