The Role
The Procurement Officer will manage the end-to-end procurement process for Ekco MSP, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The role involves working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, leveraging ConnectWise Manage to track, process, and optimise procurement activities. The Procurement Officer will uphold best practices, compliance, and contribute to the company's operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Operations Director and department heads
- Coordinate procurement schedules with project and service delivery teams
- Prepare, process, and track purchase orders in ConnectWise Manage
- Maintain and update supplier and procurement records
- Develop monthly procurement reports and performance metrics
- Communicate important supplier feedback internally
- Ensure procurement targets are met and report deviations
- Stay up-to-date with new products, suppliers, and market trends
- Ensure high levels of communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Keep procurement templates and records accurate and current
- Work with deployments and project teams to ensure timely order fulfilment
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with procurement or ERP software (ConnectWise Manage preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- High level of dedication and teamwork
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
- 2+ years' work experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles (preferably in IT or managed services)
- Procurement or supply chain certifications (e.g., CIPS) are an advantage
- College Degree (three-year college or technical school) preferred; field of study in Business, Supply Chain, or related technical field is an advantage
