The role
As a 3rd line Engineer, you will play a key role within the Technical Delivery team. This fast-paced, growing company (45% year-on-year growth) requires your support with ticket ownership and major escalations.
You will act as an escalation point for ticket-related issues, assist other teams and Client Engagement Managers during escalations, oversee major incidents, and conduct problem investigations and root cause analyses.

To support customer environments, ensuring stability. Responsibilities include managing tickets, supporting resolution efforts, handling major incidents promptly, and creating documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing with other teams.
Key Requirements
Strong knowledge of:
- Microsoft products: Windows Server (AD, CA, RDS, WSUS, GPM, IIS, Failover Clustering, FSlogix, Defender), Azure, Intune, Exchange, Entra ID (Azure AD), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), 365, Windows desktop, SharePoint
- VMware products: vSphere (vCenter, ESXi, VMs), vSAN, NSX, Cloud Director (VCD), Aria Operations, and ALB
- Virtual Desktop environments: Horizon, Horizon DaaS, Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktops
- Cybersecurity/SIEM, PAM, patching, compliance tools, Zero Trust solutions: Sophos, Rapid7, Qualys, Ivanti, Duo Security, Octopus Cloud, Delinea Secret Server, Akamai
- Disaster recovery planning and testing
Exposure to:
- Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian)
- Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, load balancing, firewalls
- Server hardware: Dell, HPE, Lenovo, hyperconverged nodes
- Storage: SAN, NAS, enterprise-grade storage (Pure, Dell, Tintri)
- SSL certificate management
- Monitoring tools: icinga, OpsGenie, PRTG, Nagios, Solarwinds, N-able, Nodeping
- PowerShell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes
- Apple and Mobile Device Management
- Site-to-site replication software: Zerto, SRM
- Backup software: Veeam, Commvault
- ITIL framework and change control
You will also possess:
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and collaborate effectively
- Eagerness to learn, develop, assist colleagues, and document environments and processes
